Over the last year or so we have been working on a project working with young people in Essex from two schools. The aim of this project, funded by Open Up, was to find out what young people already know about mental health conditions, what their perception of mentally ill was and to give them the experience of meeting people who have been there, and come through the other end.
Nikki Grahame from Big Brother visited one of the schools to talk about her devastating battle with anorexia during the project.
We then put everything together in a magazine which will be Passed On to 10,000 young people in Essex.
The schools who took part were Alec Hunter Humanities College in Braintree and Chelmer Valley High School in Chelmsford.
